About

I am an experienced voice-over artist working in Italian & Latin American Spanish - my two native languages - and English. I have an international background, had formal training in acting, film and video. I have extensive work experience in media production which gives me a wider comprehension over the entire lifecycle of the project, including conception, construction of the character and the post-production.

As a voice-over artist, I work on projects across e-learning, children's books, animations, commercials, corporate presentations, documentaries, and audiobooks.

As a casting and artistic director, I work on multilingual projects with voice-over artists from around.

Experience

Before focusing on voice acting, I worked in numerous media productions in various roles such as actress, writer-producer, camera operator, director, editor and still photographer. Moreover, I held a teaching position at the Master’s Program - Writing for Cinema & TV - and at the Post-Graduate School of Journalism at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, presented international news at SKY TV, and held a diplomatic events position in FAO, United Nations.

Style

“I create as I speak” is the translation of the legendary phrase associated with magical spells; “Abracadabra”. This phrase has always been my motto in life and in my voice acting career. Words are powerful tools of communication, as we become more conscious of the language we use, and the sounds we emit, we are able to direct them and play in the “Reality Game”. As a “Porta Voz”, a storyteller and as an artist my goal is to become “an invisible bridge” between the text, the author and the audience.

Training & Education

I studied acting at the Actors Studio with Dominique De Fazio in Los Angeles and attended many seminars and professional programs by Studio de Fazio in Europe and the US. I also studied Performing Arts in Rome and Drama Dance with Hilda Holger in London. I have a B.A. in Film & Television from the University of the Arts, London College of Communication in London. I consider myself a lifelong-learner and still attend to seminars and courses. .

Other Works

Cariocas is a film documentary focusing on the Afro-Latino identity, and the continuity of the syncretic historical tradition where music, arts, and religion dance together in the streets of Rio de Janeiro. Silikon Touch is a series of artworks in the form of sculpture, design, applied art and photography. The pieces have been exhibited at LACMA, LAMAG, Tramer Gallery in Los Angeles, and Venice Biennale. Links will be found here for the project pages soon.
